Male Pheasant

Magpie

 

Long-tailed tit On fir trees near Log Cabin. On trees near wooden steps.
Great tit Top path towards the Lake. Kingfisher Pond. Log Cabin area.
Blue tit (With chicks) Green works caravan area.
Coal tit Feeding chicks with blue butterflies (possibly Holly blue or Common blue) back of Log Cabin.
Marsh tit Adult feeding three chicks near the Lake (6th June)
Chiffchaff Most areas of woodland.
Willow warbler The Heathland. Glow-worm Rise.
Blackcap Female with insects in her beak, the Lake area. Males seen different areas of woodland during June. Juveniles seen 6th June.
Goldcrest On fir trees, near Log Cabin and the Bridlepath entrance.
Woodpigeon Lake area. Monument Pond area.
Blackbird Most areas of woodland.
Song thrush Beech Walk and green works caravan areas.
Robin Most areas of woodland.
Wren Dragonfly Pond and the Lake area. Beech Walk.
Bullfinch (3 males, 2 females) Green works caravan area. (Male and female) On gorse bush, near the Log Cabin.
Chaffinch The Heathland and Kingfisher Pond.
Jay Near the Leat, back of toilets (28th June)
Raven Two flying over Maple Walk.
Magpie Beech Walk area.
Nuthatch Green works caravan area.
Buzzard Two soaring over the Lake.
Sparrowhawk Soaring above Log Cabin (26th June)
Treecreeper On tree near wooden steps (10th June). Four on fir tree near Log Cabin.
Dunnock In bushes near wooden steps.
Mallard (Male) The Wetlands, near the Hide. Female seen with chicks on her back (26th June).
Moorhen The Lake and Dragonfly Pond. Seen with several chicks on the Wetlands 8thJune. Juvenile seen at the Wetlands near the Hide (26th).
Great Spotted woodpecker (Male and female) Dragonfly Pond area. Juvenile flying over the Heathland (28th)
Green woodpecker On fir trees near Log Cabin, 10th June 5.45pm.
Swallow Several seen flying over green works caravan and the Lake.
Heron Adult seen Wetlands near the Hide (6th) Juvenile in Kingfisher Pond (6th)
House martin Several seen flying over green works caravan.
Grey wagtail On water lily on the Lake.
Kingfisher (Male) On fence, by the Lake (6th, 2.45 pm). On branch of willow (8th, 3.30pm)

Butterflies

Large White, Green-veined White, Marbled White, Ringlet, Meadow Brown, Small Skipper, Peacock, Red Admiral, Common Blue, Brimstone (female), Comma.

 

Damselflies

Beautiful Demoiselle (Male and female)

Large Red, Blue-tailed, Common Blue.

 

Dragonflies

Emperor (Male), Golden Ring (Male and female), Migrant Hawker, Broad-bodied Chaser.
