Area C2 - Stagnant
Standing Water Zone
This area is in the north west of the wetland,
adjacent to the stream entrance (diagram). There is permanent
stagnant standing water here. It is only a few centimetres deep. Plants characteristic of
this area are rushes, Lesser Spearwort, grasses and Broad-leaved Pondweed. |
