Opening the shutters on the Lakeside Classroom gives a pleasing view
across the main Lake. Many people enjoy eating their lunch
here while watching the dragonflies catch their prey over and around the water.
Complete
with teaching aids and facilities, the Forestry Commission-owned classroom is used as a
base by many visiting groups and also provides shelter when the weather is too bad for
outdoor activities. The Centre also has a cabin built by the
Trust which is suitable for all year round visits. |
