Near Monument pond and Cabin rise. Juveniles Glow-worm rise.

Great tit

Beech walk area.

Most areas of woodland.

On fir trees near Log cabin.

Near Lake classroom and Log cabin area.

Willow tit

(Rare) On Rhododendron near Cabin rise (27th Aug.)

Goldcrest

On fir trees, Log cabin area.

Blackbird

(Male) Dragonfly pond area. Group of male birds Glow-worm rise area.

Blackcap

Adult birds feeding juveniles Dragonfly pond area. (8th Aug.)

Chiffchaff

Juveniles Cabin rise area.

Willow warbler

Back of Lake classroom.

Flying over Heathlands. (9th Aug.)

Flying over heathlands.

Flying around lake.

Flying over and around Log cabin.

Kingfisher

Adults seen throughout August by volunteers and visitors. Three juveniles seen 28th August 3pm.

  Butterflies: 

   Brimstone, Large White, Small White, Green-veined White, Gatekeeper,

Silver-washed Fritillary, Speckled wood, Peacock, Painted Lady, Common Blue, Small Copper, Red Admiral, Ringlet, Meadow Brown, Small Tortoiseshell, Comma.

 Dragonfly: 

Golden-ringed (male and female), Southern Hawker, Common Darter (male and female)

Damselfly:  

Blue-tailed, Common Blue.
